Welcome to the NKFBL Prospect Blog

It’s hard to find anything missing in the NKFBL. Over the years the league has added its own blog, podcasts and twitter accounts to cover almost anything and everything that happens in the league. However, there has never been anything dedicated to one of the best parts of this league: prospects. Since they were introduced two years ago we have all become much more familiar and aware of whos good and whos not, whos draftable and whos going to be Jason Hirsh, whos likely to stay a starter and whos likely to be a closer like Tim Lincecum…errrrrr.

The newly developed NKFBL Prospect Blog will breakdown the prospects in our league with a monthly Top 25 Prospects Owned list, a pre/mid/post season review and rankings of each teams farm system. JRad, Czar Henderson and myself will take care of most of the rankings, but everyone is welcome to add articles ect. Let me know if you would like to be involved.

For now enjoy the first Top 25 Prospects Owned list and rankings below. Feel free to leave any questions in the comments area and they will be answered in a "Mailbag" post at the end of the week. The team reviews/rankings have already been started and will be released one by one starting February 8th.

  1. Have you compiled a list that includes not owned prospects? Curious to see where some of those might fall in.

  5. Awesome work. Big fan of the layout. I'm going to have to step my game up with content on the nkfbl(og).

But where is Yung-Il-Jung? He did have a 0.50 WHIP and 13.5 K/9 last season.

  7. i think this site needs a picture of Hank Conger.
I for one had no idea he was Asian! If you haven't seen this picture look it up. Classic. What about Hank Conger suggests Asian??? I imagined a fat white kid.
