Best Pick – Tommy Hanson burst on the scene last season and put up some nasty numbers going 11-4, 2.89 ERA and 1.18 WHIP in 127 innings pitched. There are some potentially great players, but Hanson may be the best (despite what Kevin’s boner for Mike Stanton might say). It’s tough obviously, but coming into this year as an arguably top-15 pitcher starting the season at just 23, points to the kind of promise Hanson has. He looks like a potential Roy Halladay-type, or at least the beginning of the next wave of Braves pitching dominance. Also receiving votes, Gordon Beckham.

Worst Pick – Eric Hosmer…because I have to pick someone. With most of these players still very early into their careers and having high ceilings, I pick Hosmer because he’s probably the lowest ranked prospect right now.

Still Could Make it: pretty much everyone. Watching Stanton on MLB TV, he looks like he belongs. Total man beast. Alvarez looks like a beast too. Pretty much anyone in this drafting group can become an impact player. We’ll give it a year or two and see who’s where.
