Best Pick- Ubaldo Jiminez- He busted onto the scene during the Rockies ridiculous run in 07, had a promising 08 and had a very good 09. He’s a stud and the Red Sox Haters were given him by the NKFBL Draft Committee (Uustal, Knapp and Pat) in the 10th round back in 2007. Ubaldo is a strike out per inning starter who will put up W’s and keep an ERA below the mid 3’s and at 26 entering his 3rd full MLB season, he’s only going to get better.

Worst Pick- Jay Rainville- Sully was hoping for a Rocco part deux when he picked Rainville in the 10th round, but thus far he’s gotten nothing out of it. Hampered by injuries and inability he’s failed to get past AA in 5 minor league seasons. His ERA in the past 2 years hasn’t gotten below 5 and at 25 Rainville can safely be labeled a bust.

Still Could Make it- Brandon Morrow- Brad scooped up Morrow to close out the 10th round and what he got was talent. Morrow has yet to produce the results that you’d expect from a pitcher with his stuff but I believe a lot of that has to do with the Mariners jerking him back and forth from rotation to bullpen. Look for him to stick in the rotation in Toronto and be at least an above average pitcher for years to come.

% in MLB- 6 out of 12, that’d be a nice clean 50%
